Restaurant Review:- Kabe No Ana, Nex, Serangoon, Singapore

The Kabe no Ana is a lovely Japanese restaurant in Nex at Serangoon. The location is really convenient if you live further North or near the North East Line mrt in Singapore. It was really quiet when we arrived there at three pm on Saturday but we were greeted respectfully and led immediately to a table of our choice.
The starter arrived swiftly but was very tasty it was a Teriyaki Chicken Salad and the Chicken was very very tasty. We both finished the salad quite briskly as were both ravenous. Excellent Starter!

The main courses were delivered 10 minutes later after we finished the starter. We felt really special as we were given close attention by the waiting staff as it was very quiet at that time. The dish to the left is the Sausage Tomato Onsen Baked Rice. My friend loved it yet I thought it was a little too meaty for my palate.

My main course was absolutely wonderful as I loved the Spinach and Salmon Baked rice. The Salmon was splendidly cooked. However I asked for less Cream - being a health conscious person - yet it was still a little bit too creamy. The Salmon and lovely spinach made up for it though.

We cunningly used our Natsu Card and we got a free Dessert. The Dessert was absolutely so so very tasty. Melon Soup which contained Dragon Eye - which is a kind of Oriental Fruit, the soup was so sweet and lovely. The Strawberries complimented it perfectly. The Ice Cream was vanilla and was very very nice. I recommend this dessert. Go on Spoil yourself just a little - It is the weekend. You deserve it!
We were shocked in a great way when the bill arrived - It was so cheap - Just over 22 dollars for a very satisfying meal. We give Kabe No Ana eight out of ten - it is competitively priced yet the meal was very much above average. Lovely!
