Restaurant Review:- Ichiban Boshi Soba, Suntec City Mall, Singapore

Ichiban boshi Soba is a beautifully decorated and appealing Japanese restaurant in Suntec City.

It was 3pm when we arrived on Sunday. My excuse is that I always want my hair to look glossy and divine before I venture outside into the heat of Singapore. How Vain!

Anyway - the welcome was pleasant enough but the staff did look quite busy and were preparing the restaurant for the evening crowd!

This dish was brought out delightfully in a hotstone dish bubbling under a flame. It is called 'Wafu Shigureni' - this is Premium Beef with Teriyaki sauce, assorted vegetables and Shiitake Mushrooms.
The taste was nice. The carrots, beef and mushrooms went perfectly together.

The texture of the meat was succulent and tasty.
I had the Wafu Houba Yaki (Premium Beef with Miso Sauce on a Houba Leaf).

I was amazed wonderfully this Beef dish tasted and the presentation on the Houba Leaf was Splendour. Fit for a King or Queen.

The only problem was that the portion was a little small and not enough for a westerner like me.
To compensate for this we ordered the Meatball Tomato Soba. Soba has many health benefits and is full of antioxidants.

It was certainly filling but was a little too sweet and the meatballs were nothing extraordinary.
The bill came to over fifty five dollars including some treats to take away - they look like chocolate profiteroles. This was a little expensive and we don't think it was worth it - except for special occasions.

Recommend you get yourself a 'Natsu' Card to save money!

Would give this restaurant 6 out of 10.
