The Marina Bay Sands Art Science Museum is hosting a very interesting exhibition called 'Salvador Dali - The mind of a Genius!'
The Exhibition is on until the 30th October 2011.

When we arrived we were very impressed by the architecture of the museum and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

The tickets cost 20 Singapore dollars each for Singapore residents this permitted us to see the Van Gogh - which was on at the same time.

The entrance to the Exhibition was quite dramatic.
Dali was certainly a larger than life Character.

His signature is beautiful in its artistry and even shows his flamboyant and enigmatic character.

This artwork is called 'Woman of Time'. It was created in 1984.
The faceless maiden holds aloft a rose magnanimously. She holds a clock folded over her left arm.

Lady Godiva with Butterflies is the name of this work of art.Lady Godiva was an 11th Century Noblewoman who rode on a horse naked through the streets of Coventry, England to protest against high taxes.

The horse looks calm and serene as the butterflies look dynamic and proud.

Look at the snake making a heart shape in this work of art, as Eve holds the apple aloft.  This is called 'Adam and Eve' made in 1984.

St George slaying a Dragon is shown in another work of Art. This was created in 1984 by Dali.

Dali may have been inspired by a famous painting by Gustave Moreau which also shows St George killing the Dragon.

This is one of Dali's older works of art. It was created in 1940 and shows a dainty Angel balancing upon a large Snail.

When you first see it - it makes you smile and laugh a little at how ridiculous it looks.

Dali was inspired to create many artworks termed as 'Surrealistic furniture'. Here we see the furniture arranged beautifully by the museum.

You can stand back and admire how zany it appears to our conventional senses.

This photograph is very famous of 'Dali and the Image of a Rhino'.

The Rhino looks playful in nature and seems to be curiously prodding Dali's head. How imaginative.

The 'space elephant' shows an elephant and an obelisk on top. You can press different buttons to see how the light influences the artwork.

It is beautiful and indeed one of Dali's finest creations.

Here we see clocks, watches and a horse. All were curiously admired by Dali.

There was a few mirrors that you could view the clocks exhibit in.  As you can see - the results were interesting!
In summary - The whole 'Dali Exhibition' Experience was hugely enjoyable. Highly recommended if you have 2 hours to spare. Photography is permitted.
