Restaurant Review 食评:- Pasta de Waraku Japanese Restaurant日式意大利面馆, Novena诺维娜, Singapore

Often on Saturdays at Newton there is about as much chance of finding a table in some restaurants as finding a hard working Greek Taxpayer in 2011.

Luckily Pasta de Waraku is different - we could find a comfortable table in this small but comfortable restaurant.

星期六在纽顿的众多饭馆里找到桌子的机率和在2011年找到一个勤奋工作的极客的机会差不多。

幸运的是，walaku意面与众不同-我们可以找到很舒服的座位在这个小而舒适的饭馆。

This is certainly a popular restaurant for families due to the discounted and appealing Children's menu.

The pop music playing was unwarranted and mildly tedious but the service was pretty swift.
The staff took our orders and we waited attentively.

这个饭馆对于家庭来说，绝对热门因为打折和儿童套餐。
播放流行音乐，温和而冗长，但是服务挺快。
员工拿走我们的点菜单，我们眼巴巴地等着。

I ordered the Half and Half Set where you get two small pasta dishes as a main course. This is in addition to a soup and small salad.

我点了半半意大利面套餐当主菜。加上汤和一小份沙拉。

The Salad was pretty small so was a very small appetiser.
The dressing was non-existent but it was fresh.

沙拉很小，很小的开胃菜。
上面什么都没浇，但是很新鲜。




The soup was chicken and sweetcorn and was pretty standard. No bread was served with it and the portion was small. It was hot enough though.

汤是玉米鸡肉汤，一般。
没有面包，分量小。虽然够热。

First Half and Half Pasta that I received was the 'White Miso Salmon Pasta'. There was not much Salmon in it but it was satisfactory. Nothing exceptional I would say.

上来的第一个半半意大利面是白味噌三文鱼意面。没有太多三文鱼，可是让人满意。没什么特别。

The Tomato Meat Ball Pasta was served next. The Meat Balls had a slightly over-seasoned taste to them.

The Tomatos did not unfortunately taste fresh. I have had better Tomato Meat Ball Pasta elsewhere in Singapore.

番茄肉丸面是后上的。肉丸有点调味过度了。

番茄不幸地尝上去不新鲜。我们在其它地方吃过更好的番茄肉丸面。



The Wafu Hamburger and Mushroom Pasta was the highlight of the meal. The Mushrooms were so nice and added to the delight of the dish.  The hamburger was cooked to perfection. It had been cooked in Olive Oil and so was pretty healthy. This is highly recommended!

和风汉堡蘑菇意大利面是全餐的亮点。蘑菇很好，为这个菜增加了味道。汉堡烹调完美。用橄榄油，很健康。墙裂推荐！

The Bill of thirty six dollars after the discount for a DBS bank debit card payment was very reasonable.

My friend loved the Wafu Hamburger and Mushroom Pasta - I would give this dish 7.5 out of 10.

Despite this the other dishes were average and the service was okay. I would only give 6 out of 10 for everything else about this restaurant.

我的朋友很喜欢和风汉堡蘑菇意面-我给7.5/10分。

尽管别的菜一般，服务还行。我只给别的6/10分。
