Restaurant Review 食评:- Astons Specialities, Suntec City Mall新达城, Singapore新加坡

Astons Specialities at Suntec City Mall in Singapore is very popular, especially at weekends.         Luckily, it is not particular busy on weekdays when I visited it.  It is a satisfactory interior though service can sometimes be a bit slow here.     

“Astons 专长”在新加坡新达城非常热门，特别是周末。
很幸运，我在工作日来的时候不那么人多。虽然有时这里上菜有点慢，但基本让人满意。The restaurant caters to the lower end of the market and so we did not expect much from this eatery.   

这个饭馆面向低端市场，所以我们也不能期待太多。                 

I ordered soup as an first course and this was served in a very small bowl so I could not refer to this as alleviating my hunger in anyway whatsoever. The msuhroom soup was standard fare and was served hot.

我点了汤作为头菜，太小碗但无论如何我减轻了我的饥饿感。蘑菇汤一般，端上来的时候是热的。

The main course was Chargrilled Chicken, Garden Veggie and Tasty Rice.  The Chargrilled Chicken was pretty tasteless and the side dishes were acceptable. It was clearly visible not much care is taken in the restaurant regarding the presentation of the dishes. In a word - unimaginative and a catering fast food joint in essence.

主菜是烤鸡肉，田园蔬菜和美味米饭。烤鸡肉有点没味，配菜还凑合。明显可以看出这饭馆对摆盘不怎么讲究。一句话，本质上是无趣的供给快餐。

What can you expect for thirteen dollars for one person I guess.

I would give Astons 4 out of 10 for presentation, service and their tired interior decor.

Their value for money is worthy of 5.5 out of 10.

Avoid this place if you are looking for an enjoyable tasty meal in Singapore.
