Restaurant Review :- Kori, Poppies Gang II, Kuta, Bali

The Kori Restaurant is an oasis of tranquility on the busy thoroughfare called Poppies Gang II in Kuta, Bali.

When you enter the beautiful restaurant - you appreciate the warm welcome from the friendly staff and the lovely stream full of fish encircling the restaurant.

We    were enticed by the culinary offerings on the menu which  were both plentiful and delightful. We  arrived  for a Christmas Eve meal with my family and we appreciated the  memory of a special meal.
Before  we began our meal we had a pineapple juice (30,000 rp) and a Crushed Ice Guava Juice (25,000 rp) and a Java Black Tea (15,000 rp).
We sat by the idyllic bar area and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.
One of our party ordered a 'special' Satay dish - which was very tasty and so very well presented.  It really wetted the appetite for a night of celebrating Christmas.
We also ordered the Nasi Goreng which was certainly a cut above most of the standard 'Nasi Goreng' dishes which are not in the same league.
I had the Beef Massaman Curry which had a spicy kick to it and was very filling.
We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service is top class. The food is excellent and it was utterly faultless when we visited it. It is not particular cheap but knocks spots off any similar indonesian restaurant in Singapore. Enjoy it - but you may need to book in advance - especially in peak season!
